must-watch. =’) i’m sharing these with you guys coz i know i lot can relate to this. even me. 

my dad’s an OFW in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. he was in Saudi when i was born in’86 & we weren’t able to meet until i’m 7 years old in ‘92.. it was a heart-breaking meeting actually, i can only imagine how my dad felt at that time, seeing his kid for the first time in years. you want to hug your kid but she doesn’t even want to go near coz she has no idea who you are. Pop said t’was hard living in an alien country away from love ones but you’ve got to make sacrifices for the family, for them to have & enjoy a good life. 

growing up w/ an absentee dad was tough, u dnt always understand why u dnt see ur dad often but when i finally understood why, talked to dad & said i’m proud that he’s my dad & grateful for all the sacrifices he made for our family.. =’)
